Job Requirements:
Backend:
Experience with RESTful APIs design and microservices (AWS Lambda) focused for web and mobile applications (Node.js / Express.js / Next.js )
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL DB and relational architecture.
Strong knowledge of NoSQL architecture, MongoDB experience preferred.
Bitbucket managed continuous development for all platforms.
Experience with AWS CloudFormation, AWS Fargate and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
Strong knowledge of AWS environment, pipeline automation tools and cloud solutions. (Elasticache/Redis)
Develop a DevOps strategy to leverage AWS tools and managed environments to automate code deployments, security patches, load balancing, and leveraging serverless technologies.
Frontend:
Extensive knowledge of a modern web framework such as Angular2+, React or Vue.
Strong CSS/HTML5/JavaScript frameworks experience.
Experience with modern mobile front-end development frameworks (Ionic is preferred).
Project Management Experience:
Implement Agile SDLC methodologies and practices. Experience using Jira to manage large software projects is a big plus.
Continuously improve software engineering practices and training of development team.
Work with Test Engineer to develop unit testing procedures and implementation plans in TDD.
Work with UI/UX lead to document and plan workload of new features and modules.
Optional but preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ELK stack.
Experience with middleware ESB design and implementation or Service Mesh architectures.
Experience with geospatial data, UI implementations and ETL processes (ArcGIS/FME/Mapbox/PostGIS.
